There is a very sound reason why Peace is the chartered boat of choice for the more daring of Northern Channel Islands diving expeditions. Aside from a decadent Jacuzzi to submerge oneself in after emerging from frigid San Miguel waters, the charter boat also offers tantalizing smells from a top-quality gourmet chef.
Conveniently docked close to the four Northern Channel Islands in Ventura harbor, Peace is one of only a handful of dive boats that supplies Nitrox to its patrons. Being equipped with a saltwater Jacuzzi and 32 single and double bunk beds, Peace also offers exceptional service from its down-to-earth and friendly staff. From our experience, there is no other option more rewarding for the harsh conditions Northern Channel Island often has.

Like the Peace, the Explorer is also located in Ventura harbor and has for the past fifteen years never ceased to surprise Ocean Safari with its hospitality. In an ongoing and tireless effort to transform each and every diver’s experience into nothing but luxury, the Explorer never disappoints.
With deckhands at every corner, a cook to take your special order, and the only captain in Southern California that can fishtail a sixty-foot boat into its parking spot, there really is nothing that can go wrong here. The Explorer is simply another statement adding to our emphasis of great relationships—from dive boat and island, to shop dive team, to you.

Despite its deceptively small size, the 40 foot-long Asante and her crew can very comfortably accommodate 12 divers. The Asante’s 3-foot draft makes this vessel very advantageous for accessing dive sites that most dives boats cannot. With her recently upgraded engines and a cruising speed of 15-18 knots, this boat allows us to make a 3-dives day trip in a time efficient manner. In addition to her Nitrox filling capability and her convenient location at the Ports O’Call in San Pedro, Asante provides us with easy and safe access to the oil rigs and several beautiful shipwrecks around the area.

Truth Aquatics (The Vision)
AS A THREE-BOAT dive fleet situated in the cozy and comfortable Santa Barbara harbor, Truth Aquatics has beginning in 1974 set the standard for Californian live-aboard dive boats. With all three of the fleet’s dive boats designed and built specifically for diving, comfort comes with natural ease. The boats frequent destinations attractive to all divers, places offering lobster diving, underwater cinematography and photography, hiking, and kayaking among whale watching and other activities.
Having worked closely with the Channel Islands National Parks since the 90s, it is no wonder that Truth Aquatics is a common favorite for many recreational divers. And in a close partnership with the fleet, Ocean Safari confidently offers trip to islands and marine sanctuaries.
The Vision is the largest, most spacious, and fastest boat out of the three boats in Truth Aqautics Fleet. The 80-foot long Vision is a spacious boat that can comfortably accommodate 37 divers with its 3 heads, 4 showers (with hot fresh water), and cozy bunks. There are 13 double bunks and 20 single bunks, so there are more than enough bunks to go around and most divers can get a single bunk. Blankets, pillows, curtains, and reading lights are included within the bunk facility and divers will find ample changing space in the bunk's dressing room. Not only can divers eat and socialize in the galley, but with The Vision's built-in barbeque, hunters can cook their game right after they catch them! Additionally, divers can sit and relax in the large sundeck between dives. This boat travels with a cruising speed of 12 knots to all of the offshore islands of southern California and is known for its amazing adventures at Big Sur. Such an outstanding boat like The Vision will exceed your expectations and provide you with an unforgettable diving experience.
