NAUI LEADERSHIP COURSES

Assistant Instructor (AI):  This program is designed to introduce AI Candidates to diving instruction basics.  The Candidate will be responsible for assisting Instructors in pool and open water sessions.  The Candidate will perform skin and scuba diving skills and techniques and provide diving information through lectures and seminars to basic scuba divers and students.  It is a highly recommended step in the progression to become a NAUI Instructor. 

Dive Master (DM):  This is the highest NAUI leadership-level certification with the exception of Instructor.  This program is designed to train Diver Master Candidates to become experienced and knowledgeable Dive Masters to organize and conduct safe and enjoyable open water dives for certified SCUBA divers.

Instructor:  During this course, future instructors learn effective methods on how to teach skin and SCUBA diving in compliance with NAUI diving course standards.  This course assures that NAUI instructors will have the knowledge, skills, fitness and proper attitude to be successful.
