CPR and AED Seminar

As critical as it is for any Good Samaritan to respond properly in an emergency, it is likewise just as critical, if not more so, to respond in a diving emergency. Training in CPR & AED results in swift responses to cardiac or breathing emergencies until advanced medical personnel arrive on scene—outdoors, this time period is often extended and thereby more crucial to act properly than in the city. As the perfect pairing to the [Diving First Aid & First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries], [Emergency Oxygen, Neurological Assessment, Field Assessment, and Blood Borne Pathogens], and [Lost at Sea – Crisis Prevention and Management] seminars, a few hours of familiarization with CPR & AED may be the difference between life and death.

Upon successful completion of a 3-hour seminar, graduates are considered competent to carry out and engage in CPR & AED procedures in the event of an emergency which necessitates such action approximate those of training.

This seminar is strongly recommended to be taken in conjunction with [Diving First Aid and First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries] seminar, [Emergency Oxygen, Neurological Assessment, Field Assessment, and Blood Borne Pathogens] seminar, [Lost at Sea – Crisis Prevention and Management] seminar, and the [rescue diving workshop] for a complete and well-rounded training consisting of both in-pool as well as in-class instruction.
