2021 Ocean Safari T-shirts are Here!
The story behind the first design goes back more than 15 years ago, when a curious harbor seal pup swam up to Gabe to say hi at Anacapa Island. Years later Phoebe (our Divemaster candidate and talented artist) saw the picture of the harbor seal and drew a black and white illustration from it. Last year, she worked with our instructor/professional illustrator, Meg Itoh to revise and refine the illustration into this beautiful T-shirt design.
The second one was designed by one of our divers, Erica Yeung, six years ago. We used the monotone version of it for our T-shirts for the last few years. Now, with new printing technology, we can present to you all the original color version.
