There is a very sound reason why Peace is the chartered boat of choice for the more daring of Northern Channel Islands diving expeditions. Aside from a decadent Jacuzzi to submerge oneself in after emerging from frigid San Miguel waters, the charter boat also offers tantalizing smells from a top-quality gourmet chef.
Conveniently docked close to the four Northern Channel Islands in Ventura harbor, Peace is one of only a handful of dive boats that supplies Nitrox to its patrons. Being equipped with a saltwater Jacuzzi and 32 single and double bunk beds, Peace also offers exceptional service from its down-to-earth and friendly staff. From our experience, there is no other option more rewarding for the harsh conditions Northern Channel Island often has.

Like the Peace, the Explorer is also located in Ventura harbor and has for the past fifteen years never ceased to surprise Ocean Safari with its hospitality. In an ongoing and tireless effort to transform each and every diver’s experience into nothing but luxury, the Explorer never disappoints.
With deckhands at every corner, a cook to take your special order, and the only captain in Southern California that can fishtail a 55-foot boat into its parking spot, there really is nothing that can go wrong here. The Explorer is simply another statement adding to our emphasis of great relationships—from dive boat and island, to shop dive team, to you.

Despite its deceptively small size, the 40 foot-long Asante and her crew can very comfortably accommodate 15 divers and has the capability to fill your tanks with Nitrox. The Asante’s 3-foot draft makes this vessel very advantageous for accessing dive sites that most dives boats cannot. With her recently upgraded engines and a cruising speed of 15-18 knots, this boat allows us to make a 3-dives day trip in a time efficient manner. Asante is our favorite boat for easy and safe access to the oil rigs and several beautiful shipwrecks around the area. To find her dock, set your navigation to Crusty Crab Restaurant in Ports 'o Call, San Pedro, park anywhere in the parking lot, and walk behind the Crusty Crab to dock #4.

Truth Aquatics (The Truth)
Having worked closely with the Channel Islands National Parks since the 1990s, it is no wonder that Truth Aquatics is a common favorite for many recreational divers. And in a close partnership with the fleet, Ocean Safari confidently offers trip to islands and marine sanctuaries.
With an overall length of 69 feet, The Truth (the original Truth Aquatics boat) fits 2 heads, 3 showers, comfortable bunks, a galley with a built-in barbeque, a sundeck, and other amenities to meet the needs of 30 divers. While smaller than The Vision, The Truth maintains top-notch service and amenities as its sister boat. Similar to The Vision, the showers come with hot fresh water; each of the 12 double bunks and 20 single bunks come with pillows, blankets, curtains, and reading lights; the bunk facility includes a dressing room; the galley has a built-in barbeque; and there is a large sundeck for divers to relax and/or sunbathe. With all its accommodations and great services, The Truth adds to the number of reasons why diving in southern California waters is such an amazing and memorable experience.
