La Paz & Magdalena Bay Expedition 2025
November 10 ~ 17, 2025
Known as the “Aquarium of the World,” the Sea of Cortez has one of the highest concentrations of marine life on the planet, making it an unparalleled diving destination. Explore the crystal-clear waters of the Sea of Cortez and immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding nature. Get ready for an exciting adventure and an unforgettable diving experience in this spectacular place.
Just off the Pacific coast of Baja California Sur, Isla Magdalena and Isla Santa Margarita protect a dynamic stretch of ocean known as the Magdalena Bay. The dense forests of mangroves and vast expanses of white sand dunes surround the bay around 200 kilometers of channels and lagoons in breathtaking scenery. Through the combination of deep ocean upwelling as well as the California current and northerly current flowing up the pacific coast provides the bay with some of the most biologically productive waters in the world. These healthy, nutrient-rich waters give us the opportunity to witness the magnificent Mexico Magdalena Bay Sardine Run.
Be one of the first few to jump into the newest frontier of nature’s wonder: the sardine run in the pacific coast of Baja Peninsula. Let’s go snorkeling with millions of silversides and freedive side by side with the marlins, dorados, and sea lions! We will drive through the mountains and desert of Baja from La Paz to Magdalena Bay. Go out on the panga with a big HP motor and chase the bait ball. Magdalena Bay, a wild place, awaits you!
